
The Livingston High School boys’ track and field team competed in the annual NJSIAA State Tournament in Toms River on Saturday, February 4, against the 18 schools that make up the North 1, Group IV Section. The Lancer team came home with a fourth place overall finish a state sectional champion, and several other athletes finishing in the top six who will move on to the Group IV meet in two weeks.
Senior captain Eric Schneider continues to excel in his final winter season as a Lancer. He took third place in the 400-meter dash at 52.58 and, in the 55-meter hurdles, earned a first place state sectional championship medal with a time of 8.04.
